The commune of Juan-les-Pins is undertaking a vast project to redevelop its seafront, with the aim of creating a promenade accessible to all and adapted to environmental issues. At a total cost of €17 million, the works are due to be completed by June 2025.
The main aim is to transform the seafront into a place where visitors can relax and stroll while admiring the Mediterranean. To achieve this, a number of existing buildings will be demolished and replaced by demountable structures.
These are designed to be removed during the winter to reduce the risk of erosion and sea surges.
The architecture of the project includes limestone walkways and a protective wall, while access ramps will be added to improve accessibility, particularly for people with reduced mobility.
The redevelopment also takes account of safety requirements, with fold-down terraces to limit damage caused by bad weather. The works also involve the Pinède and Garoupe areas, and should be completed in spring 2025 on boulevard Édouard-Baudouin.
The entire team at Tanit Immobilier is looking forward to seeing the new face of Juan-les-Pins and the impact it will have on the local property market.
